Ministry Description 事工簡介
Goal
To facilitate and encourage involvement of all brothers/sisters to participate in the fulfillment of the Great Commission of the risen Lord by:
reaching different people groups strategically
recruiting and nurturing future missionaries
supporting missionaries and mission organizations
promoting mission awareness at NYCBC
Areas of Ministry
Secretary/Administration Assistant
To perform general secretarial and administrative duties.
Treasurer
To be responsible for budget and administration of funds/support.
Prayer Coordinator
To promote prayer for missionaries and other needs worldwide.
Communication/Promotion
To facilitate communication of news and needs of missionaries and the world.
Mission Education
To educate brothers/sisters in the area of missions that we will be a significant part of the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
Short-term Mission
To promote short-term opportunities, and facilitate brothers/sisters to go and serve on a short-term basis.
事工組目的
促進及鼓勵弟兄姊妹實行基督的大使命。包括：
有策略地向不同種族的人宣講基督
招募和培育未來的宣教士
支持宣教士和宣教基構
在北約中提升宣教意識
事奉崗位
文書／行政助理
負責一般秘書及行政事務。
司庫
負責財政預算及金錢支助的行政。
祈禱
推動為宣教士及工場的需要祈禱。
通訊／宣傳
讓弟兄姊妹認識宣教士的需要、他們的事工和工場。
宣教教育
幫助會眾認識宣教，好讓我們同心參與基督的大使命。
短宣統籌
向各堂和團契通知和宣傳短期宣教的機會，協助弟兄姊妹參加短期宣教。
2022 Ministry Report 事工報告
1. The goals of the ministry group for the Year 2022
Continue our church’s commitment to overseas missions by supporting our existing missionaries
Look for opportunities to support national projects or workers
Attentive to mission opportunities with different people groups in the GTA
Bring attention to the missionaries we support through church wide prayer meetings for missions
2. The highlights of the activities for achieving the goals
3 church wide joint prayer meeting were held in 2022
A few families in the ESC hosted International students for dinner over Christmas
Support for national workers and projects such as Wycliff translation projects, Power to Change International student ministry, Ukraine relief
3. The results and some forward looking sharing
Continue to look for opportunities to support new missionaries
Expand the ministry to International students i.e. involve more families to host dinners and fellowships
Increase communication on global mission in church congregations and fellowships
